In other words, it puts an extra load on your computer. It?s like a parasite that saps energy from the host. The result is that your computer has to do more work. The result of that is you will have a slow computer. It slows down because of the extra work load.

So, what?s the moral of this tale? The point is that your computer running slow may be caused by a security attack. Your slow computer may need to be scanned for malicious software. In order to fix a slow running computer you make need to get rid of the software put on by the criminals.
